Thanks Craig - that is the main website I've been using for new scenarios. All the sites I've found leave something to be desired when it comes to filters, though.

With 2.0 coming out I guess some sets might come up for sale. My Kallax is getting somewhat full though... 😆

The scenario numbering/naming is 'challenging' too. Some might be sequential or linked in some way, which can be a fun way to play for the minor narrative aspect, others not. I guess the 'Axx' are official extra scenarios, 'Cxx' are community-made, there are two sets numbered 'Mxx' (some are TCM and some 'mixed'?). Whoever invented the naming convention should be hit in the face with a pan... 😛

Conclusion is that there's probably no quick or easy answer and it's very much a mix-and-match kind of game where you can adapt everything as you like. I'm fine with this, I just prefer to stick to scenarios 'as written' and with official rules until we exhaust them.

Hi guys, last 3 sundays were expended with some room mates playing zombicide, but after explaining the rules and choosing our first escenario (the worst to beging with: 01), we encounter a horrible death and some unanswered questions.

1. When you kill zombies (any kind) using molotov, each zombie awards experience points to the player trowing the molotov?.

2. Player 1 is in spot A and player 2 is in spot B. Player 2 needs an item but can't move, player 1 can move and is going to be in same zone as player 2. Can player 1 trade the item player 2 needs or player 2 should wait till he/she can move to player 1 so he/she starts the trading?

1. Yes, the player tossing the molotov gets points for every zombie killed.

2. As long as they're in the same zone, it doesn't matter which player uses an action to trade. As long as player 1 has an action left, he can trade items with player 2.

Hi guys,

It's been a while since I posted my last message here, but I've been working hard and I've now released a few tile sets on my blog, with tokens, and cards, and special rules and Missions and all (unfortunately all in French, but I have no time for translations right now). I post a few tiles here, if you like them come and see the rest of them on my blog, HD and print ready.

Is this due to the pandemic or the upcoming second edition?

I have a friend that wants this base game, but it is selling on amazon for over $200.00.

He can get it on Ebay for about a $100.00, but doesn't won't to pay that.

Should he just wait or does he need to get one, before it gets any higher in price?

They're just becoming scarce. Old stock is being sold out and will eventually be gone (except for secondary market re-sells). Some people out there aren't the game nerds we are, so they may not be aware of 2.0 at all and are buying these old ones. Won't they be surprised.
I'm sure CMON abandoned reprinting it a good while back in anticipation of 2.0. I'd just wait for 2.0 release to retail.

I picked it up a month ago for 103AUD on Amazon. Like the others said probably best to wait for the newer version at this point or get Black Plague or Invaders instead perhaps?

still the best and most playability!...I got the invaders core/black ops/dark side sets.but wont get around to playing them.so,except for punching tokens and unwrapping cards..non have been played!..all as new.ive put them up for trade.and thinking of selling them on ebay..especially as people are stuck in their homes with the covid-19 going on!.

Rue Morgue rulebook has it on page 19 section 7 “A Zombie’s Attack is always successful and does not require any dice rolls . It snatches, if possible, an Equipment card that the Survivor is carrying . The player who controls the Survivor chooses and discards an Equipment card . The Survivor receives a Wounded card, which replaces the lost Equipment“

Not looking for any advice here, just posting up an unusual situation. I think it's a minor rules omission on this scenario.

In the scenario A3 Wanda's Revenge, one of the objectives states:

We are going to head for the drive-in and kill everybody (i.e. all Zombies within the building Zones of the 6B and 6C tiles, both those already there and those who are going to spawn after opening the first door). The drive-in must be empty and no Zombies must get out. Otherwise... the mission fails and Wanda gets quite disappointed.


Well, when we opened the door to the drive-in and spawned zombies, the very first card was a fatty extra activation card - so those already inside the building from the board setup rules immediately stepped out onto the street.

Technically, that's an automatic fail, but it seems a bit mean to fail a scenario on something we couldn't control (other than monitoring the spawn cards and waiting it out). We ignored it and just made sure those fatties were taken out next turn and none of the other zombies got out 'alive'.

The ruling quoted above ought to make an exception for extra activation cards when opening the door to the building, unless it's meant to be exceptionally mean-spirited! laugh
