See, I thought about the arbitrary deadline, but when the KS ends on Sunday morning and I email them on Sunday at noon, are the logistics of adding me in to the purchasers so much more difficult? Did their order to the manufacturing plants go out within that four hour window? On a Sunday? And why would they then say that they have a list to which interested people can add their email address and still be included if those people couldn't logistically be added in to the order when it was made with the printers and the plastic manufacturers?Plus, other KS publishers have mechanisms for adding people after the fact. As far as I know, Reaper is letting people who missed the KS still purchase items and get the KS rewards for that purchase level even though the KS has ended. It's not like a publisher can't still agree to transactions outside of the KS website. In fact, CMON has a store that can be accessed from their website. They could run financial transactions through there if they wanted. Just post an item that says "Zombicide with KS bonuses" and add me to the final order tally and take my money as long as its before the final order goes out. If that can't be done, then don't lead me along and tell me that it can when you know it can't. Be honest with me and let me know what's available when I inquire about it. Don't lie to me. That's my whole point.
As far as the mockups for the promo figures go, sure, I appreciate you passing along the info about the character cards being available. But, I don't know, it would still feel pretty disappointing to me. But I do appreciate the info just the same.
I'm not looking for sympathy with any of this. I'm just looking to detail why I am disappointed in this one experience with this one publisher, because I think there's value in letting others know about these things when they happen. Most won't find any of this useful. But maybe someone will.
