But you see, you are in the minority that thinks there is something that needs fixing in those rules. I find them to be essential for the sense of dread and panic as the number of zombies on the table grows. Without it you could just play hide and seek with the zombies by abusing the noise mechanic, and slowly pickup the objectives (or whatever) while avoiding conflict.
Which would you do in real life - separate from the group to go open doors thinking that somehow that will change the number of zombies present, or avoid danger by taking advantage of their limited response mechanism? In scenarios where this doesn't happen, do you feel the game fails because no dread and panic was invoked? You did say it was essential, right?
So why not either:
a) fix it yourself
b) go play another game
Expecting the designers to ruin a perfectly fine ruleset just for you is a bit far fetched.

I've answered both a and b already. Several times in fact. I was even taken to task because I said I intended to do b. Were you not paying attention?
I don't expect the designers to change the rules - the purpose of this is to give a viewpoint that others who are considering the game might wish to know about. This is not the "apologize for Zombicide's faults thread" it is the "Total Lack of Balance" thread.
